Mimir Consulting provides individual and group therapy for adults seeking recovery, healing, and personal growth.
Our areas of focus include:

  • Sex, love, pornography, and substance addictions

  • Trauma and recovery from narcissistic abuse

  • Identity, relationships, and meaning-making

    We offer both in-person and telehealth sessions to meet clients where they are.

Who are your therapists?

Our practice includes:

  • David Gasper, LCPC, LMHC, is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and EMDR-trained clinician, specializing in addiction recovery and trauma integration. They are licensed to see clients in both Illinois and Massachusetts.

  • Alex Chiodo, LPC, NAT-C, specializes in work with queer and neurodivergent survivors of narcissistic abuse. They are licensed to see clients in Illinois.

Do you accept insurance?

Mimir Consulting PLLC is in-network with BlueCross BlueShield PPO plans.

If you have another insurance provider, we can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Please check with your insurance company for details about coverage, copays, and deductibles before beginning therapy.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the cost of your therapy services before you begin treatment.

This estimate outlines expected charges for services and ensures transparency around fees, even if you are not using insurance.

You will receive your estimate in writing before your first session.

How long are sessions?

  • Individual therapy sessions: 55 minutes

  • Group therapy sessions: 90 minutes

  • Sex Addiction Assessment: Two 90-minute sessions and one 50-minute feedback session, with online assessments completed between meetings
